Our commitment to your protection

As dedicated dental professionals, we are deeply concerned about protecting our patients from infectious diseases. We are given a very special trust each time you, our patient, visit our office. We are committed to providing our patients with maximum protection against infectious diseases.

Our infection control systems and procedures are constantly being evaluated and updated as we receive information from the Centers for Disease Control. The use of gloves, masks and protective eyewear are some of the more prominent steps that are taken to ensure your safety. But what goes on before we ever treat a patient? What protective measures are taken that are not so obvious to our patients?

Here's a brief description of just some of the precautions we take for your protection:

  • Each patient is treated with sterile instruments, gloves and, masks.
  • Instruments are sterilized by monitored systems.
  • Appropriate equipment and working surfaces in treatment areas are thoroughly wiped with disinfectant between patients.

Our staff members are thoroughly trained in infection control procedures. We are proud to be part of the dental health care community which has led the nation's health care workers in regulations to protect patients from exposure to viruses since 1987. That's when the Ohio State Dental Board became the first dental board in the country to require its licensees to follow comprehensive infection control rules.

We hope by making you, our patient, more aware of what measures are being taken on your behalf, your trust and confidence in our dental team will make your visits more comfortable.
